What to Include in Your Message
Giving us a little context helps us respond faster and more usefully:
- Bug reports — include the letters you entered, any filters you set (Starts with, Ends with, Must include), and what you expected to see versus what appeared. Your browser and device type are also helpful.
- Missing words — if a word you expected isn't in the results, let us know the word and the letters you entered. The site uses an open-source word list and some valid English words may not be included.
- Incorrect words — if a result looks wrong or offensive, send us the word and we'll review it against the source word list.
- Feature requests — describe the use case you have in mind and how the current tool falls short. We consider all suggestions when planning improvements.
- General questions — anything else is welcome too. No question is too small.
About the Tool
TheUnscrambleWords.com is a free word unscrambler and anagram solver built for Scrabble, Wordle, Words With Friends, and general word puzzle use. The entire word engine runs in your browser — your letters are never sent to any server. There are no accounts and no sign-ups required to use any feature on the site.
The word list is based on the MIT-licensed an-array-of-english-words package (approximately 274,000 entries derived from the Letterpress word list). Because it is an open-source general English list rather than an official game dictionary, results may differ slightly from what any specific game accepts. Privacy
We do not collect any personally identifiable information through this site. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, session length, device type) and Google AdSense to display advertisements.
